i have patrticipated in the OBT phase of Oversoul PH but can't seem to connect after the maintenance, the customer service seems to busy or slow on responding to my querry this is unusual based on what i have seen z-zone's Customer Service response time. i can log in to my account on their website but for the lif eof me i can't log in to the game. hopefully this would be remedied and my issue on the game be addressee.

been a while since i posted on this blog i have been testing mostly mmo's in their CBT Phase to name one Zhu Xian Online PH, but i have been looking forward to this new mmo name Shin Megami Tensei of the venerable console-rpg series which was made into an mmorpg or to be exact a japanese-mmorpg i have been on of the few to be invited to test the games prior to the CBT sign-up currently underway, first impressions was that the game has instanced "dungeons" (in the parts of the game that i have gone to that is) which is acceptable because it tries to tell a story with your character as the main protoganist (much like Guild Wars) but we really won't know how the game will play out in the final release. i'll post more on my experience while playing the game... the game is Free to Play for those who are wondering.

Screens on my 4 Story online toon an archer after playign the game in a matter of hours i can definitely say that this mmo is "THE" WoW clone not Perfect World or Warhammer Online, one sample between the similarities of both games: corpse retrieval wherein if your toon "dies" your immediately spawn in the "graveyard" and a a spirit and you have to "retrieve" your toons body inorder to be able to resume your game. here are some screens

Z-Zone's latest offering for the local mmorpg market is called Oversoul Online which after months of anticipation of most gamers who saw the ad for the game during this years (Philippine Online Gaming Summit) POGS '08 of Game Magazine i was ne of those few whose interest was piqued due to the lack of information even in the interwebs (yes i tried looking for any information and even screens but to no avail) now the site has been updated at it seems they are looking for beta testers for the game, i'll reserve my judgment on how the game plays and looks after i test the game (please z-zone ^_^;) wo here are the links to whet your online gaming appetites : enjoy

Guild Wars 2 lore to be told in book series

At the Penny Arcade Expo yesterday afternoon, ArenaNet played host to a jam-packed Raven Theater within the Washington Convention Center for their panel entitled "Three Years of Guild Wars" where attendees were treated to the history of the game and an open Q&A session regarding the current and future state of the game.

Yet possibly even more exciting was a small tidbit of news we got from Chris Lye, ArenaNet's Director of Marketing, regarding Guild Wars 2. The team is working with Pocket Books (a division of Simon & Schuster) for a three-book series that will fill in the lore gaps within the 250-year period between Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2. Stay tuned to Massively for more on this series and any other Guild Wars 2 news we may uncover.

Flagship Studios is that other group of ex-blizzard employees (the other one is Arena Net who made Guild Wars) who formed their own game dev company who cdeveloped the much hyped MMO Hellgate: London w/c to say the least flopped due to the numerous game design issues and bugs.

IP E-games newest currently most played MMORPG in the philippines as evident by the sheer number of players even during the CBT Phase and as of this moment, mostly players from the recently "Closed Down" game Khan Online PH and mid-level RAN Players are now into Cabal. While playing the game something alarming (to me anyway) began happening to the game, have you guys/gals noticed that recently more channels from every server seem to be going "Premium" (not surprising these are the only open channels) and less of the "Normal/F2P" channels. Now this got me thinking is e-games reducing the maximum number of players per channel or is it because more players are turning to the premium service for the boost in their avatars development via the +25% exp, Skill exp, drop rate and crafting exp and such(has anyone really checked especially those who are on the P 500.00 Premium if your getting the said bonus mods all the time?)

so to all Cabal Players think of this even for a moment "Is E-Games subliminaly forcing It's players to opt for the Premium Service?" I hope not.
